Mt. Shasta Recycling

Welcome to our state certified recycling center in Mt. Shasta. There have been a lot of changes in this department over the last year. We have been able to purchase better equipment using the money from our “donation zone”, grants and other donations.  We also have a buy back program, where the public is paid for recyclables brought to us. Look below to find out what types of recyclables we accept and pay for.

CARDBOARD REQUIREMENTS

1. All Cardboard must be broken down completely. No Exeptions.

2. No styrofoam or plastic in boxes, No wax or slick surfaced cardboard. No Cereal Boxes, Food Boxes, Paper or Trash.

3. CORRUGATED CARDBOARD ONLY!

4. All large cardboard pieces must be cut down into 45 inch wide strips or less to fit our conveyor.

Donation Zone

Our donation Zone, designed for easy drop off of recyclables was established to help purchase upgrades and improvements to the recycling center. All items that are donated by the community will be used for this purpose. Each bin in the donation zone is labeled with pictures to show the public where to sort their recyclables.
